The new Azimut S7 is going to celebrate its debut in September 2017 but it is already clear that this new design will represent a milestone for the Azimut’s luxury motor yacht range of sport yachts. Available in the Coupé and Sportfly version the Azimut S7 is built of FRP (carbon + glass) with superstructure, radar arch and pivoting platform made of carbon reducing weight and increasing the performance at the same time.
The V-shape hull is designed by Pierluigi Ausonio with in-house Azimut naval architecture. The striking and modern exterior lines are the responsibility of Stefano Righini giving the new Azimut S7 yacht a dynamic look with characterizing unprecedented diamond-shaped deckhouse windows.
The layout of the new Azimut S7 Coupé or Azimut S7 Sportfly will be available in a classic 4 double cabin arrangment with separate crew compartment aft all located on the lower deck. The master cabin amidships offers a small office, seating area, large double bed with audio-visual entertainment systems and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with separate WC and walk-in shower. A VIP, twin and bunk bed complete the guest accommodation.
The maindeck of the new 21.30m Azimut S7 luxury yacht boasts with a continuous seamlessly connected level from aft cockpit over saloon to the forward deck, fully loaded with finest amenities for leisure, relaxing, sunbathing as well as alfresco dining. The interiors, designed by Francesco Guida, will be available in two décors, Perla Nera and Platino, both looking very elegant and stylish matching the modern exterior lines.
We really like the exterior areas with the oversized sunlounge at the aft offering sky views not interrupted by the flybridge, and charter guests will have a tough decision to choose their favorite area for socializing as the forward deck offers plenty of additional lounging and additional extra-large sunpads.
The transom garage offers enough space so that the tender and jet-ski can free the swimming platform and forward deck. All these features make the Azimut S7 a compelling luxury motor yacht ideal for charter as well as for private use and family cruising.
New Azimut S7 motor yacht will be powered by a triple Volvo IPS propulsion system (VOLVO D13 IPS 1050 800 hp) ensuring fuel-efficiency paired with remarkable maneuverability and performance not forgetting about noise and vibration reduction. In figures the Azimut shipyard states more than 30 knots cruising speed and topping out at 35 knots. It goes without saying that an Active Trim Control is part of the yacht’s equipment as well as an Auto Balance System scoring with a variable weight distribution inside the fuel tanks keeping the heel angle close to zero.
Motor Yacht Azimut S7, whether in the Coupé and Sportfly version, is built to the Azimut DNA and one recognizes this motor yacht immediately as an Azimut. Still with all new materials used during the building process, with a more dynamic exterior and interior design being loaded with the latest technology the Azimut S7 is set to be a game changer for the Italian shipyard. No doubt an Azimut S7 for charter will be available with us during the next two years.
